Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Well, being in a store, I came across my works in the form of cards ... I experienced a shock! When I asked the dealer, who distributes the cards - I heard that an independent company, which appeared on the market recently ...
Gained to contact them and will explain this matter in a few days ...

Jest mi niezmiernie przykro z tego powodu, liczę na to, że uda Ci się jakoś wychwycić tych ludzi :< Z tego co słyszałam, takie sytuacje się już kilka razy za devie zdarzały- tzn. ktoś umieszcza prace, a potem naglę widzisz ją w jakimś sklepie jako koszulkę (Reserved raz tak ukradło komuś obrazek, jeżeli dobrze pamiętam z 2-3 lata temu).

Is terrible, and totally unpleasant
appose end forces you to watermark all your work ....

I attended a lot of comic conventions as speaker, and saw how others had stands where they sold products from business cards, shirts and all kinds of objects, with art that was here in deviantart, recognized him was because many times I see their galleries, is terrible that part where showing your work have a risk to a pirate -unscrupulous people take and realize business with it!

Get a lawyer, if they use your art for profit they should pay you for it.

Anyway, I find it very annoying when people call copyright infringment "theft". It's such a cheap attempt at psychomanipulation. These are separate issues of different nature with separate laws dealing with them.

I was at a photo shop and I was printing my artwork which I was planning to sell on allegro and the guy that worked here was very enthusiastic about it and it got me kinda paranoid about him making his own physical copies of it or leaking the matrix into the internets.
I would be rather annoyed if such copyright infringement would occur and would demand him to pay me at least as much as making a graphic on commission with unlimited release rights would cost.

So, I was planning to sell these at Allegro. [link]
But I have discovered that I would have to start my own company and pay the gigantic ZUS tax, which I wouldn't be able to afford to pay. So, as an unemployed person, I cant get unemployment benefits, I can't even do small trade, so what a am I supposed to buy food for? This government is so horrible. I hope one day our own Breivik will come and deliver us from them.
